For the first time in fifteen years, Broadway Bares, the unrivaled evening of sexy striptease that benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will have a new home. The 24th edition will take over the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday, June 22.
This always sold-out annual event combines the naughtiness of burlesque and the razzle-dazzle of Broadway. More than 200 of the hottest male and female dancers in New York City take to the stage for two sensational shows at 9:30 pm and midnight.
This year’s edition of Broadway Bares will again be directed by Nick Kenkel (Catch Me If You Can, Peepshow, Legally Blonde), who also directed Broadway Bares 23. This year's theme and special guests will be announced in the spring.
Prices for Broadway Bares 24 range from $50-1000. VIP tickets include open bar and special viewing areas. Also available is the exclusive "Stripper Spectacular" package, which includes a reserved table seat at either show, admission to a private cocktail party with Broadway Bares creator Jerry Mitchell and more. View the new seating options at Hammerstein Ballroom.
The Broadway Bares season will begin January 26 with Broadway Bares: Winter Burlesque, featuring more than 25 of Broadway Bares' hottest dancers bringing you a striptease spectacular sure to cure the winter blues. Broadway Bares was created in 1992 by Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell who serves as executive producer. It is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Last year's Broadway Bares 23: United Strips of America raised a record-breaking $1,430,241, the highest total of any edition of Bares.
