If you're a team captain, it's easy to set up your teams

• Register for Up Our Alley 14 by clicking the "Join" button then enter your User ID and password. If this is your first time registering for Up Our Alley click "New Participant Registration" and fill out the registration form.
• After registering, you'll be given "Join Options." Select "Create a new team."
• Please use your company name as your team name so that your fellow team members can easily find your team.
• Once you have registered and created your team, you can personalize your fundraising page and team page through your dashboard.
• Please remember: only 8 members per team.

Up Our Alley 14 Team Captain Responsibilities

• Register your team for Up Our Alley 14
• Recruit 7 teammates
• Recruit teammates who will make every effort to meet or exceed the minimum personal fundraising goal
• Recruit teammates who support our cause
• Recruit teammates who you will enjoy having at the event

• Personalize your fundraising page and encourage your teammates to personalize theirs
• Explain what you are doing and why, make your appeal as personal as possible
• Share your personal fundraising goal and ask your friends, family and colleagues to give generously
• Explain how your donor’s contribution will save lives
• Include photos of yourself or photos of someone you are honoring
• Suggest a specific dollar amount
• Start fundraising for Up Our Alley 14
• All registered Up Our Alley participants will receive weekly e-mail updates. Please read them and remind your teammates to read theirs.
• You are the cheerleader for your team. Check in with your teammates regularly to encourage them
• Pay extra attention to any teammates who are struggling with fundraising
• When your teammates reach their fundraising goals, encourage them to raise the bar higher to keep the donations coming.
