BC/EFA's auctions on eBay.com: BC/EFA's auctions on eBay.com began in 2001, immediately following a disappointing Broadway Flea Market, much of which was rained out. As an afterthought, we put some of the unsold merchandise up for auction on eBay, and to our surprise, the results were impressive and a successful new BC/EFA fundraising initiative was launched. Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction - Preview on cMarket.com: Online pre-bidding for The 23rd Annual Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction is now open. The pre-auction will run from September 9, 2009 to September 26, 2009, with the actual Silent Auction and Live Auction taking place on September 27, 2009. Online bidders have the chance to place a bid before the event, of if you are unable to attend in person. Fleabay: One of Broadway Cares' most anticipated events is the annual Flea Market and Grand Auction which takes place every September (this year it is Sunday, September 27th) in Shubert Alley just off of Times Square. Many theatrical treasures can be found IF you are lucky enough to be in Times Square on that date. In an effort to reach out to those who are not able to make it into New York City but want to feel as though they are a part of the fun, we are running our annual special "FLEABAY" auction through the month of September featuring at least 50 items that are typical of our true Broadway Flea Market finds. From authentic costumes to unique opening night gifts, from scripts to rare posters, many items featured are the only ones we have received. Here is your chance to get in on the "auction action" from the comfort of your very own home. To accommodate as many items as quickly as possible, these items may have a more brief description than our usual eBay items.
