At the September 24, 2008 meeting of the Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS Board of Trustees, those in attendance presented Joe Benincasa, executive director of The Actors Fund, with a check for $4,302,000, representing BC/EFA’s support in fiscal year 2008. This is an increase of over $500,000 from support provided by BC/EFA in 2007.
